Focus and Scope

Journal of Mathematics UNP is a journal to publish article from student researches in UNP Mathematics study program, and we also kindly accept other article from outside of our study program related to

1. Mathematics: consists of publication in Algebra, Analysis, Combinatoric, Geometry, Differential Equations, Graph and/or Mixed
2. Mathematics Applications: consists of publication in Application of Differential Equations, Mathematics Modelling, Mathematics Physics, Mathematics Biology, Financial Mathematics, Application of Graph and Combinatorics, Optimal Control, Operation Research, and/ or Mixed
3. Statistics: consists of publication on Development and/ or Application of statistics in various aspects.

Section Policies

Peer Review Process

Every submitted article is independently reviewed by at least a double-blind review (two peer-reviewers) for author whom affiliation is not from mathematics department Universitas Negeri Padang and for Mathematics Department Students, the review process is done by cross methods. The decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendations.  After being reviewed, there will be four kinds of editor decision based on the reviewers’ recommendation:

1. Accept Submission: The submission will be accepted without revisions.
2. Revisions Required [Minor Revision]: The submission will be accepted after minor changes have been made.
3. Resubmit for Review [Mayor Revision]: The submission needs to be re-worked, but with significant changes, it may be accepted. It will require a second round of review, however.
4. Decline Submission: The submission will not be published in the journal.

Publication Frequency

Periode penerbitan 4 kali dalam setahun pada bulan Maret, Juni, September dan Desember

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
