HUBUNGAN MINAT SISWA DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR LAS BUSUR METAL MANUAL DI SMKN-1 PADANG

Abstract

The research was motivated by the problems related to the lack of student learning outcomes, their low learning outcomes was assuned releted to the low student intersest to the program study. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of student’s interest to their learning outcomes in Technical subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Padang. The type of research was quantitative corelational. The population of the study consisted of 50 student of class XI in 2012/2013 SMK Negeri 1 Padang. Samples were taken from overall the amount of existing population from each every class by using technique total sampling so that got by sample of 50 students. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires Likert scale model which had been tested with validity and reliability test. Data were analysed by of SPSS for windows version 15:00 and showed a 0,660 corelation inside before the independent and the dependent variable. The results of this research founded coeefficient determination (R2) about 0.436 or 43.6%. Therefor interest of student giving about 43.6% mean while 56.4% determined by another factor.
