Abstract

This research was conducted to see students’ perception toward
compieteness readiness of practice equipment with the study result of students’
welding. The research still uses a bit of practicing equipment it aids to give basic
reference of vocational ability toward student in order they have skill and ability
which is suitable with the state. To achieve the result of study well, school has to
provide practice equipments which are needed by the students to achieve the
better of study result.
The research populations were all of first year student mechanical
engineering department at the SMK N 1 Tanjung Raya in academic years
2012/2013 which registered at the second semester, number of populations
consist 60 students, although the sample was 23 students by using Taro Yamane
from. In this research, researcher used teory Ridwan technique through simple
random sampling technique with the lottere method. Instrument of the research
which was used like questioner that arranged into scala likert to see the
completeness of practice equipment in the workshop. The technique of analyzing
data used product moment correlation formula that was calculated by using SPSS
program version 16. 0.
Based on analyzing data was found that there was strong relationship
between completeness readiness of practice equipment and the result of students
welding study. It can be known from the hypothesis testing on coeffision
correlation 0,608 and if it was seen from table 0,325. Because value of test r > r
table (0,608>0,325), so it can be concluded that Ho was rejected and Ha was
accepted. The result of the research also got determination coefision value (R2)
0,608 or 36,9 %. Thus, it can be said that relationship of completeness rreadiness
of practice equipment also determined the students’ study result 36,9 % although
63,1 % was determined by other factor which was not researched.
