PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATA PELAJARAN MEMPROGRAM MESIN CNC DASAR SISWA KELAS XI TEKNIK MESIN DI SMK NEGERI 1 PADANG
Abstract
This research aims to see effect of cooperative learning model type jigsaw
in teaching Memprogram Mesin CNC dasar lesson. The learning model is used to
solve problems which are got students when they learn Memprogram Mesin CNC
dasar. The problems were students who were least active in learning, they did not
have motivation in following the lesson and also their marks were low at this
lesson. The research was used experimental method which includes two group
qualifications; First group as experimental class was and other group as control
class. Experimental class was given treatmen by using cooperative learning
model type jigsaw. Population of the research was second grade students of
mechanical engineering department SMK Negeri 1 Padang in academic year
2012/2013 that consisted 50 students who were divided into two class, they were
TP-A and TP-B. Sample of the research was all of population, XI TP-A class as
experimental class and XI TP-B class as control class. The researcher used mark
of add semester of Mempogram Mesin CNC dasar to determine normality and
homogeneity from sample. Treatment which was given to experimental class and
control class were four meetings. Then post-test was given for experimental and
control class. Post-test was used to see difference of mark which was was got
from both experimental and control class. Instrumentation which was used was
multiple choices which consisted 25 item. To see validity of items, the researcher
did try out test in XII TP-A class from 50 items which were tried out got 25 items
of validity. The result of data analysis used Ttest formula that was developed by
Sudjana showed that there was development of mark after treatmen was given at
the experimental class or XI TP-A. By trying T-test was got that there was the
effect of cooperative learning model type jigsaw to wand students mark of XI
mechanical engineering department of Memprogram Mesin CNC dasar at SMK
Negeri 1 Padang.
