Abstract
This study aimed to determine the relationship of teachers 'perceptions of students
about the personality of the students' eyes to the study of Energy Conversion
Engineering (MKE) Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering Students of Class XI N
SMK Negeri 2 Solok City. In this study, there are two variables, perceptions of
students about the personality of the teacher as a variable X and student learning
outcomes as the dependent variable Y. This study used a correlational method to
determine the relationship between variables. The population in this study were
students of class X and TKR 23 Light Vehicle Engineering department (TKR)
Automotive SMK Negeri 2 Solok City totaling 90 people. Tests carried instruments to
students outside the sample of 43 people. To determine the validity of the
questionnaire obtained by SPSS version 16.0 with a significance level of 5%.
Retrieved 5 items are not valid questions from 41 question items. The results,
obtaineda correlation coefficient of 0.491 price) with the category of interpretation of
the correlation coefficient is rather low.
