Abstract


The Subject using measurement tools difficult subject for the student, as a
result the student learning outcomes become lowers. Issues raised in this study is
a Contextual Learning toimprove student learning outcomesin classXTKR3 in
SMK Negeri 2 Solok?. This type of research is action researchclass, while the
subjects were students of Class X TKR 3 SMK Negeri 2 Solok the second
semester academic year 2011/2012 with the number of 27 students. Data
collection techniques in this study is a test at the end of each cycle. The results of
Class X students of SMK Negeri 2 TKR Solok after following the model
oflearningby applying contextual learning increased learning outcomes in the
first cycle average mastery learning outcomes of students reached 62.8% and in
the second cycle increa sedwidened 85.18%. Can be inferred by applying the
learning model contextual student learning outcomes can be improved.
