HUBUNGAN MOTIVASI KERJA TERHADAP PROKRASTINASI KERJA PEGAWAI NEGERI SIPIL DI DINAS LINGKUNGAN HIDUP KAB. SOLOK

Abstract

The correlation between motivation and work procrastination of civil servants in environmental service in the Solok regency. The research had a purpose to know the correlation between motivation and work procrastination of civil servants in enviromental service in the Solok regency on periode 2019. The sample were taken by a total sampling with amount of 25 respondents. Data collection tools using the work motivation scale consisting of 24 items (α=0,925) and work procrastination scale consisting of 35 items (α=0,935). The method used is “product moment”. Based on analysis result, there was correlation between motivation with procrastinatiuon with amount of -0,991 p valuea=0,000 (p<0,001), that means the higher the motivation then the lower work procrastination and the opposite.

Hubungan motivasi kerja terhadap prokrastinasi kerja pada pegawai negeri sipil di dinas lingkungan hidup kab. Solok. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi kerja terhadap prokrastinasi kerja pegawai negeri sipil di Dinas Lingkungan Hidup di Kabupaten Solok. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini dipilih menggunakan teknik total samping sebanyak 25 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakuakan dengan kuesioner menggunakan skala motivasi kerja sebanyak 24 item (α=0,925) dan skala prokrastinasi sebanyak 35 item (α=0,935). Teknik analisis data menggunakan product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,991 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,01) sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara motivasi kerja terhadap  prokrastinasi kerja pada pegawai negeri sipil Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kab. Solok, artinya semakin tinggi motivasi kerja maka semakin rendah prokrastinasi kerja, dan begitu pula sebaliknya.
