ATTACHMENT ORANG TUA DAN TEMAN SEBAYA DENGAN KOMPETENSI SOSIAL PADA SISWA SMKTM BUKITTINGGI

Abstract

Abstract: Attachment of Parents and Peers with Bukittinggi High School Students' Social Competencies. This study aims to examine the attachment relationship of parents and peers with social competence in adolescents. The research design used was quantitative correlational with the study population, namely students of Muhammadiyah Technology School in Bukittinggi. The sampling technique used was proportioned stratified random sampling, with 135 participants. Data collection was conducted using a parent and peer attachment (IPPA) scale from Armsden and Greenberg (2009) and social competency scales. Data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there is a relationship between maternal attachment with social
competence p = 0,000 (p <0.01), there is no relationship between father attachment and social competence p = 0.379 (p> 0.05), and there is a peer attachment relationship with social competence p = 0.047 (p <0.05).

Abstrak: Attachment Orang Tua dan Teman Sebaya Dengan Kompetensi Sosial Pada Siswa SMKTM Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan attachment orang tua dan teman sebaya dengan kompetensi sosial pada remaja. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasional dengan populasi penelitian yaitu siswa SMK Teknologi Muhammadiyah Bukittinggi. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah proportioned stratified random sampling, dengan 135 orang partisipan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan skala parent and peer attachment
(IPPA) dari Armsden dan Greenberg (2009) dan skala kompetensi sosial. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara attachment ibu dengan kompetensi sosial p=0,000 (p<0.01), pada ayah tidak terdapat hubungan attachment ayah dengan kompetensi sosial p=0.379 (p>0.05), dan terdapat hubungan attachment teman sebaya dengan kompetensi sosial p=0.047 (p<0.05).
