PERAN POLA ASUH ORANGTUA TERHADAP KEMATANGAN EMOSI REMAJA

Abstract

Abstract: The role of parenting on adolescent emotional maturity. This study aims to determine the role of parenting style on adolescent emotional maturity. The design used in this research is correlational quantitative. Correlational quantitative, namely research to see the correlation and role between one more variables with other variables. The population in the study was late adolescents of Desa X Kabupaten Padang Pariaman and the sampling technique used the Total Sampling technique because the population was less than 100 so that the whole sample was taken from the total population and obtained a sample of 96 people. Retrieval of data using the Parenting Scale and Emotional Maturity Scale with reliability of .856 and .874 respectively. The data analysis technique in this study used Multiple Regression Analysis. Based on the results of the hypothesis, it was obtained that p = .000 means p < .05, so it can be concluded that there is a role of parenting in adolescent emotional maturity, where authoritative and permissive parenting play a role in adolescent emotional maturity.

Abstrak: Peran pola asuh orangtua terhadap kematangan emosi remaja. Penelitian ini  memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui peran pola asuh orangtua terhadap kematangan emosi remaja. Desain yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi pada penelitian ialah remaja akhir di Desa X Kabupaten Padang Pariaman dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel  sebanyak 96 orang. Pengambilan data menggunakan Skala pola asuh dan skala kematangan emosi dengan reliabilitas masing-masing .856 dan .874. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Berdasarkan hasil hipotesis diperoleh p = .000 artinya p < .05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bawha terdapat peran pola asuh terhadap kematangan emosi remaja, dimana pengasuhan authoritative dan pengasuhan permissive berperan terhadap kematangan  emosi  remaja.
