HUBUNGAN ANTARA SELF DETERMINATION DENGAN NUMBER SENSE PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR DI KOTA BUKITTINGGI

Abstract

Abtract: The relationship between self determination with number sense in elementary school students in the city of Bukittinggi. This study aims to find out whether there is a relationship between self determination with number sense. This type of research is correlational quantitative. Subjects in this study were 97 people. The method used is a quantitative method with a correlational research design. The sampling technique is cluster sampling and the data collection technique is a questionnaire and test method. Based on the result of the hypothesis test that there is no relationship between self determination with number sense. As evidenced by the results of the hypothesis test obtained by r of -.204 and p = .091 (p > .05). This analysis means that the impulse is influenced by factors froms within and outside factors of the individual to carry out an activity because of a reward or amplifier does not determine students are able to have an understanding of numbers and its operation in a flexible way to solve various kinds difficulty problems in mathematics. 

Abstrak: Hubungan antara self determination dengan number sense pada siswa sekolah dasar di kota Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara self determination dengan number sense. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 97 orang. Metode digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah cluster sampling dan teknik pengumpulan data adalah angket dan metode tes. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara self determination dengan number sense. Terbukti dari hasil uji hipotesis didapatkan r sebesar -.204 dan p = .091 (p > .05). Analisis ini memiliki makna bahwa dorongan yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor dari dalam diri dan faktor dari luar diri individu untuk melakukan suatu kegiatan karena adanya sebuah imbalan atau penguat tidak menentukan siswa mampu untuk memiliki pemahaman tentang bilangan atau angka dan pengoperasiannya dengan cara yang fleksibel untuk menyelesaikan berbagai macam kesulitan persoalan dalam matematika.
