ABSTRACT

This article is written for information, analyze and describe the learning activities of students in learning geography at SMAN 1 Ulakan Tapakis related to: 1) listening to the teacher was explaining activity, 2) reading activities when given the opportunity to read, 3) Activity of hands when the teacher gives questions, 4) Activities provide an answer when asked a question, 5) activity when given the opportunity to give an opinion issued an opinion. These subjects were taken by purposive sampling where the informants are taken based on the people who have the insight and knowledge of the research topic. The results of the field study are as follows: 1) student learning activities in the teaching of Geography at SMAN 1 Ulakan Tapakis, not quite up 2) In this class students are required not active, but the teacher must also be able to carry out a strategy to enable the students.
