Abstract


This research explores the creation of educational media for the course "Application of Radio and Television Systems" at SMKN 2 Payakumbuh, a vocational high school in Payakumbuh that has adopted the Merdeka curriculum. While the curriculum has been implemented, a significant portion of the learning experience continues to rely on lecture techniques, resulting in diminished student engagement and concentrate. The objective of this study is to develop educational media focused on Canvathat encompasses elements like Learning Outcomes/Learning Objective Pathways, resources, instructional videos, and engaging quizzes to enhance the teaching and learning experience. The research technique included validation from subject matter and media specialists, along with practical testing conducted by students. Validation outcomes indicated an extremely high degree of validity from both expert groups, with mean scores of 92.14% and 92.67%, respectively. The students' practicality test also produced a highly practical outcome, achieving an average score of 90.4%. These results indicate that the created learning resources are effective for improving classroom learning outcomes. This study aims to be a source of guidance for creating interactive learning materials in additional vocational education areas.
