The Impact of PjBL Learning Assisted by Proteus To Learning Outcomes At SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh

Abstract


The purpose of this study is to assess how the Proteus simulator-supported Project Based Learning (PjBL) model affects the learning outcomes of fundamental electrical and electronics courses for group X students majoring in electronic engineering at SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh.  This study employs a quantitative, quasi-experimental methodology with an unequal control group design.  Two classes were used in this study: the experimental group and the control group.  Prior to the experimental class receiving therapy, the research participants took a pretest, and following the treatment, they took a posttest.  Students in class X majoring in electronic engineering at SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh, acted as the subjects of the study.  Prior to and during instruction, student learning outcomes were measured using the research tool, which took the form of objective questions.  The average of control class pretest score was 47.00, whereas the experimental class's was 47.22.  In the meantime, the average of experimental class posttest score was 82.22, whereas the control class's was 72.66.  According to these findings, the experimental class's student learning outcomes increased by 13.14% as a result of the project-based learning (PjBL) paradigm, which was facilitated by the Proteus simulator.  The result of the hypothesis test was 0.004.
