UPAYA PEMBINAAN KESADARAN BERAGAMA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR
Abstract
Islam Education at Elementary School aims at increasing the belief, understanding, and student’s practice of Islamic norms and values, so in the real life they can be a real Moslem with a good manner.
The Curriculum of Education clearly defines indicators to measure the student’s success in learning Islam Education. The indicators, in this case are students are able to : 1) Do religius activities precisely; 2) Real Al – Qur’an correctly; 3) Have a good manner; 4) Understand the “sirah” of Islam Prophet Muhammad SAW.
To reach those things above, there should be an effort to construct the religion awarness of the Elementary School Students that can be done by : 1) Realizing religious atmosphere at school; 2) Applying the insersion method in learning process by inserting religion topic to other subjects of lesson; 3) Educating students through teachers model where the teachers give good example of behavior, and the students imitate; 4) Leading students to be accustom to practice the values and norm they have learned in their dealy life; 5) Establishing the cooperation between teachers and parent especially in the religious aspects.
