PENGARUH KONSEP DIRI DAN KEPUASAN PERAN DENGAN UPAYA PEMBERDAYAAN KELUARGA DI KECAMATAN PADANG UTARA KOTA PADANG

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the influence of women's self-concept and satisfaction with the role of family. This population was the women in the North District of the Padang City and the sample was taken with technique Random Sampling Area, amounting to 112 people. Data collected using quetionaire and analyzed with a regression correlation techniques with SPSS version 12.

Results of research indicate that there is significant influence between the concept of self-empowerment efforts of women with families. This means that the concept of self-succession determines the effort to empower women in the family. There is no significant influence of the role of satisfaction with the efforts to empower families. This means that even though women less satisfied with the role, he still seeks to empower families, or in other words women still run a good role as a wife, mother and worker. The results of the analysis at the same time find that the concept of self-satisfaction and the role of affect in a significant effort towards the empowerment of families. This means that variations in the concept of self-satisfaction and the role of variations affect the efforts to empower families.

Based on the results of this research, women are encouraged to continue to improve and enhance the concept of self satisfaction and to increase the role of family empowerment efforts. Researchers can further develop this research variables with a wider population of the same or different.
