Studi In Silico pada Ekstrak Daun Sirsak (Annona muricata Linn.) Menghambat α-Amylase dan α-Glukosidase sebagai Antidiabetes
Abstract
Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a disorder of glucose metabolism characterized by impaired insulin secretion and resistance. Type 2 diabetes mellitus (DMT2) and its complications are non-communicable diseases with a high mortality rate. The leaves of A. muricata can be used as an antidiabetic type 2. Soursop leaves contain active compounds in the form of alkaloids, carbohydrates, saponins, proteins and amino acids, phytosteroids, coumarins, quinones, oils and fats, as well as phenolics and flavonoids compounds which can lower blood glucose levels. This study aims to inhibit α-Amylase and α-Glucosidase. To determine its inhibitory activity, molecular docking was carried out using proteins with PDB ID : 3BAJ and PDB ID : 5NN5 which will be interacted with the active compounds contained in the methanol extract of soursop leaves. Octadecanoic acid and Eicosanoic acid compounds have good binding affinity to α-Amylase. Whereas in α-Glucosidase the compound that has the best binding affinity is n-Hexadecanoic acid. The n-Hexadecanoic acid compound has the potential to be developed as an antidiabetic.
