Persepsi Politik Mahasiswa FIS Universitas Negeri Padang

Abstract

The role of student politics looks dominant in every phase of political life which formatted in the political system. Students are seen as agents of change, noblesse oblige, the future generation, or as a prophetic minority. This article focuses on the study of the perceptions of student politics FIS UNP. The finding of this research showed that political perception is awakened from the high level of knowledge and critical attitude made it possible that they become reformer actors for the acceleration of the reform agenda. However, based on some indications, there is not impossible that they become destabilizing forces in political life.
