DESAIN PERANGKAT PERKULIAHAN FISIKA STATISTIK BERBASIS KKNI DENGAN PENDEKATAN KONSTRUKTIVIS

Abstract


ABSTRACT

Needs analysis indicates that the performance of lecturers, social climate, student competence, soft skills of the workforce and difficulties level of students who listed statistical physics courses are in enough category (based on the front-end analysis). Based on analysis of learner characteristics shows that students: (1) 57.14% had a good start capability, (2) 40,74% less material achievement in statistical physics, (3) 40.72% requires deeper understanding for repetition, exercises and structured tasks, (4) 100% environmental influences in students achievement. Analyzed results of students’s task show that: (1) group study and repetition of lectures material needs to be improved, (2) the tasks that assigned are in accordance with standard competency. Futher understanding of the student in lectures material of statistical physics needs to be improved gradually and structured (analysis result of the lectures material). In addition, the demands of higher education curricula oriented to the working demand related KKNI (National Qualifications Framework Indonesian) also needs to be achieved by students. The research objective is to design learning materials of statistical physics based on KKNI with a constructivist approach which has valid criteria. This study uses 4-D models (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate) and has reached on Design phase. Data was collected by questionnaire. The analysis technique used to processing data is the percentage technique. The results of the research are the expert appraisals of the lectures materials that have been designed. Syllabus validation results given average value 94,58 percent, validation lesson plan averaged 93,29 percent, validation for handout showed an average value 90,89 percent, and the results of the validation assessment sheet showed an average value 93,75 percent. Conclusion of research is design of learning materials of statistical physics based on KKNI with a constructivist approach has been reach valid criteria.
