ANALISIS KUALITAS UDARA DI DAERAH PENAMBANGAN BATU KAPUR BUKIT TUI KOTA KOTA PADANG PANJANG

Abstract

ABSTRACT

The research was conducted at Bukit Tui Limestone quarry Padang panjang city. The purpose of : 1) To control air pollution and 2) The achievement of the indoor air quality ambient for human healty and other living creatures. The designed of the research was descriptive study with standard reference SNI 19-7119.3-2005 ambient air part 3 : The way the particles suspended by using tools Hight Volume Air Sampler (HVAS) with gravimetric method and air sampling tools (Impinger). Analysis quality the air is done to some parameters like : SO2, CO, NO2, O3 and TSP with 12 hours time measurement. The results showed for some parameters is TSP 29,2 μg/Nm3 comparing BKMU 230 μg/Nm3, NO2 55,74 μg/Nm3 comparing BKMU 150 μg/Nm3, SO2 38,12 μg/Nm3 comparing BKMU 365 μg/Nm3, CO 1230 μg/Nm3 comparing BKMU 10.000 μg/Nm3 and O3169,3 μg/Nm3 comparing BKMU 235 μg/Nm3. From these result can be seen that air quality in 2015 quite good because no paramaters exeed the quality standard of air quality (BKMU). Pollution of aircan give a positive and negative impact for human and other living creatures. To be able to tackle air pollution can be done some ways including greening to carry out photosynthesis process (the park is acting as the lungs of the city)
