PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN LKS BERBASIS INKUIRI TERBIMBING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA UNTUK MATERI KOLOID KELAS XI SMAN 1 BATUSANGKAR

Abstract


ABSTRACT

Government has imposed a new education curriculum, called Curriculum 2013. The process of learning in the curriculum is oriented scientific approach (observe, ask, collect data, associate and communicate). Therefore, was equired a scientific process of teaching materials to facilitate active students. One of the instructional materials are LKS- based guided inquiry. Research on the effect of the use of guided inquiry LKS based on learning outcomes of students to colloidal material has been done. The research objective were expressed influence LKS use of based on guided inquiry student learning outcomes in colloidal material. Type of research was experimental study, using desain "Randomized Control Group Posttest Only Design". The population were students of class XI IPA SMAN 1 Batusangkar as much as 4 classes, the academic year 2013/2014. Sample were class XI IPA4 (control group) and class XI IPA2 (experimental group). Learning oucome ware collected by tests at the end of the study. The test results were 85.75 of experimental class and 80 of control class. Data analysis was performed using t-test at level α=0.05 with 38 degrees of freedom obtained tcount = 1.97 and ttable = 1.68. Analysis of the data showed that the learning outcomes of students who used the worksheets based on guided inquiry significantly higher compared with the results of student learning without using worksheets based on guided inquiry
