PENGARUH LATIHAN FISIK SUBMAKSIMAL TERHADAP KADAR F2-ISOPROSTAN PADA SISWA PUSAT PENDIDIKAN DAN LATIHAN OLAHRAGA PELAJAR SUMATERA BARAT

Abstract


ABSTRACT

The exercise who transgress fatigue will increase the formation free radicals to the cell membrane lipid peroxidation that damage the membrane of cell who considered to be establishment of F2-isoprostanes. This study aimed determining the effect of sub-maximal exercise on level of F2-isoprostan in the students of The Education Center and Sport Training Student West Sumatera. This study was experimental pre and post-test group design to 30 senior high school students. F2-isoprostanes before and after exercise sub- maximal examined was method by ELISA. Statistical analysis was by paired samples t-test and the results obtained statistically significant when p <0,05. The results showed the mean levels of F2-isoprostanes before the sub-maximal exercise 38+15 pg/ml and there was an increase 37% to 52+17 pg/ml after exercise. The increase levels of F2-isoprostanes statistically highly significant p<0,001.
