Abstract


Research to develop water level measurement system with embedded data is impor tant to be conducted. The objectives of this research are to produce a water level mea surement system with embedded data and to determine its characteristics. This research can be categorized into experiment research. Data were gotten by using measurement techniques to physical quantities on measurement system. Data were analyzed by using two methods, those are error theory and graph method. Based on the data analysis can be stated five this research results. First, pulse output of ultrasonic distance sensor is directly proportional with the level water with negative sensitivity, accuracy and precision of this sensor are high. Second, the measurement system of river water level with embedded data constructed by regulated power supply, microcontroller, IC74LS157, LCD and it has four push button switches, those are on/off, reset, send, and record. Third, the relationship bet ween number display on LCD before and after calibration is a linear form each average deviation 1.50 % and 0.79 %. Forth, accuracy and precision of water level measurement system on laboratory testing activities are high. Finally, average accuracy value of mea surement system on river water level testing is also high.
