SENSOR FLUXGATE BERBASIS TEKNOLOGI PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARDS (PCBs)
Abstract
An instrument to measure magnetic field based on Fluxgate magnetic sensor using element of model sensor printed circuit boards (PCBs) was presented. Fluxgate sensor element consisted of excitation coils and pick-up coils. Excitation coils generates magnetic field that functions as reference magnetic field whereas pick-up coils is used as a sensing of external magnetic field, so the sensitivity of fluxgate sensor depends on the design of secondary coils element. Based on the analysis of the experiment data, the sensor's sensitivity of the PCBs was 392.1 mV/µT. The maximum absolute error from the polinomial function approached was 0.0751 µT. The maximum relative error of the sensor system in this approach was 0.38 %.
