HUBUNGAN PENGAMBIL KEPUTUSAN KELUARGA DAN PENGETAHUAN IBU TENTANG TANDABAHAYA KEHAMILAN DENGANKETERLAMBATAN RUJUKAN

Abstract

High maternal mortality ratio is caused by there are still many referral delayed in  pregnancy and childbirth complications.Family decision makers factor and knowledge about danger signs in pregnancy are considered influential to referral delays of complications in pregnancy and childbirth.The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between family decision makers and knowledge of mothers about danger signs in pregnancy with referral delays in complications of pregnancy and childbirth. The research design used cross sectional. The research subject are the mothers who arrived at the RS M Djamil Padang with referral delays to the complications of pregnancy and childbirth by using consecutive sampling technique. Overall the respondents as many as 100 people. The data is processed and analyzed by chi square and multiple logistic regression. The result of this study noted that there was a relationship between family decision makers with a delay refers to the complications of pregnancy and childbirth (p value 0,033). There was no relationship between knowledge of mothers about danger signs in pregnancy with a delay refers to the complications of pregnancy and childbirth (p value 0,77). Decision makers refer and cost are variable which most associated with  referral delays of pregnancy complications and childbirth.The cost is variable with largest prevalance rate value is 4.715 and the smallest p value is 0.029. This study concluded that family decision makers associated with the delay refers to the complications of pregnancy and childbirth.
