MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI FISIKA SISWA MELALUI MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD PADA SISWA KELAS XI IPA4 SMA N 8 PADANG

Abstract


In classroom learning still found that less motivated students , students consider difficult because many physics formulas . so the value is still low student competency . Based on the analysis , the main factor is the cause teachers to teach to the lecture method so that learning takes place monotonous and boring students. In an effort to improve student kompentesi required new methods of teaching . One way is to conduct cooperative learning model stad . This study aims to improve student achievement against learning materials Newton's Law of Gravity class XI IPA 4 . Number of students in class XI IPA 4 as many as 31 children , consisting of 9 boys and 22 girls. The data in this study were obtained from the results of the cognitive , affective and pisikomotor / performance . This study was conducted in two cycles . Each cycle is done by stages : ( 1 ) develop a plan of activities , ( 2 ) implement the action , ( 3 ) observation and evaluation , and ( 4 ) analysis , followed by reflection . Data collection was carried out studies using observation sheets , student competence in the classical style and value toview the list of students' mastery learning .Psychomotor aspects of assessment results / performance and cognitive cate gories has shown to be increased in both categories in the second cycle . Effective aspects of the assessment results in the first cycle showed pretty good category , both categories increased to once in the second cycle . excellent categories according to established criteria (81%-100%). Based on the above results it can be concluded that learning to type Stad Cooperative Learning Model can improve the competence of students in SMA N 8 Padang , a class XI IPA 4.
