This research aims to produce learning materials of module based on REACT (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring) for acid-base topic which content and construct are valid. The designed module graded by panellist as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) which consists of lecturer from chemistry departement of FMIPA UNP and chemistry teachers in high school. To collect data, content validity and construct validity questionnaire were used as the instruments. The data analysis technique used in this research were Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and kappa Cohen formula. For content validity, there were three items graded by the panellists which is the suitability of module content with REACT syntax, with critical thinking sub-indicator and with chemistry scientific knowledge. Furthermore, for construct validity there were four items graded by the panellist which are contents, language, presentation, and graphic component. The Content Validity Index (CVI) were 0.903, which obtained from analysis data result of content validity. Chemical equilibrium is one of the subject matter which is quite difficult for students to understand. This study aims to produce a structured inquiry-based chemical equilibrium module using three levels of chemical representation and to express the level of validity and practicality of the module developed. The type of this research is development research using a 4-D model. The stages in the 4-D model are define, design, develop, and dissaminate. The instruments used in this study are validity sheets, teacher response questionnaires and student response questionnaires given for module practicality tests given to 5 validators and 32 students of eleventh grade of Public Senior High School (SMAN) 1 Pariaman. From the results of data analysis using the Cohen kappa formula, it is known that the validity and practicality of modules developed is within a validity average of 0.82, a very high category, the teacher's practicality level is 0.89, a very high practicality category, and a practicality level for students is 0.82, a very high practicality category. Thus, a structured inquiry-based chemical equilibrium module using three levels of chemical representation (macroscopic, microscopic and symbolic) developed can help teachers and students in the learning process<em>.</em>Nila SundamiMinda Azhar

This research is aimed to develop the e-modul of acid base based of discovery learning. The type of research used is research and development or Research and Development (R&D). The development model used is a 4-D model (four-D models) which consists of 4 stages, namely: define, design, develop and disseminate. This research is limited to the stage of development, namely the validity and practicality test. The research instrument used was a questionnaire of validity and practicality. The e-module was validated by 5 validators while the practicality test was carried out by 3 chemistry teachers and 27 XI grade students of MIA SMA UNP Laboratorium UNP. Data from the validity and practicality test results were analyzed using the cohen kappa formula. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the average kappa moment of validity test was 0,953 with a very high validity category and the average kappa moment of teacher practicality was 0,921 and students were 0,883 with a very high practicality category. The 2013 curriculum requires teachers to use a scientific approach to the learning process. The scientific approach is in accordance to the steps of various learning models, one of which is inquiry. The aim of the study was to develop guided inquiry-based e-modules on material elemental periodic characteristics for class X SMA / MA and determine the validity and practicality of the developed e-modules. This type of research was research and development (R & D) with the 4D development model. Results of the validity test and practicality test of the e-module were produced. The validity test was carried out by 2 chemistry lecturers from FMIPA UNP and 3 senior high school chemistry teachers. The construction of the UNP Laboratory, SMAN 8 Padang, SMAN 2 Padang and practicality tests were carried out by 2 senior high school chemistry teachers. 2 UNP SMAS Laboratory Development School 2019/2020 academic year. The research instrument was conducted using a validity questionnaire and practicality questionnaire by processing the results of data analysis using the kappa moment formula. This study produced a guided inquiry-based e-module on elemental periodic properties with an average moment of kappa of 0.88 which indicated a very high level of validity. The 2013 curriculum emphasizes the scientific approach in the learning process. The scientific approach implemented in the learning process will be able to develop students' skills, attitudes, and knowledge. To apply scientific approach, asking question methode can be used to make student In the learning process. the types of questions that can be used are probing and prompting question. The aim of this reseach is to develop a reaction rate module based on scientific approach using probing and prompting question for XI grade SMA/MA and to determine the level of validity and practicality of the module. The type of reseach used to get product is reseach and development (R&D with 4-D models. Module validity testing is carried out by 2 chemistry lecturers at FMIPA UNP and 3 chemistry teachers at SMAN 14 Padang , the module have an average kappa moments 0.91 which is very high level of validity. While the module practicality test is by 2 chemistry teachers and 25 XI grade MIPA 5 at SMAN 14 Padang, the average kappa moment from the results of practicality test of the module by the teachers is 0.89 and by the student is 0.88 with very high category.Dola SucianaEllizar Ellizar

In the 2013 curriculum for all levels of education learnng is using a scientific approach that aims to make student think critical. The research aim to develop a colloid module base on scientific approach for XI SMA/MA class and determine the level of validity and practicality. This developed module uses probing questions (digging question) and prompting questions ( guiding questions) to train critical thinking students. This research is Research And Development (R&D) with 4-D model. Validity test was done by 3 chemistry lecturers at FMIPA UNP, 2 chemistry teacher at SMAN 1 kayutanam. Practicality test was done by 2 chemistry teacher at SMAN 1 kayutanam and 20 XI IPA 3 SMAN 1 kayutanam students. The instrument was validity and practical questionnaire and data was analyzed by Cohen Kappa Formula. This study produced a colloid module based on scientific approach with an average kappa moment 0.89 which is very high level of validity. The result of the teacher practicality test and the students practicality test obtained an average of kappa moment in a squence of 0.90 and 0.87 with a very high level of practicality.Zulfadli ZulfadliEllizar Ellizar

The purpose of this study was to determine students achievement of scientific literacy in the aspect of content, context, and competencies. This research used a quantitative descriptive method. Sample was 30 islamic senior high school students of Padang. The research instrument used was a scientific literacy test in the form of two-tier diagnostic tests consisting of content, context and competencies aspects in buffer solution material. The result of this study showed that the average achievement of scientific literacy ability in content aspect was 34,03% and was considered to be “very bad”, context aspect was 30,53% and was considered to be “very bad”, and competency aspect was 30,26% and was considered to be “very bad”. An overall conclusion was students had a “very bad”ability in the cognitive aspect of scientific literacy with a value of 33,11%.Putri PermatasariZonalia Fitriza

This research has developed the module of molecular shape based on structured inquiry with emphasis on the submicroscopic level using modeling and determined the validity and practicality of the module. The research type was Research and Development (R&D). The development model was 4-D model that consist of four steps: define, design, development, disseminate. The research was limited on development step. The instruments of the research were validity and practicality sheet. The module was validated by 5 validators. Practicality module was tested by 2 chemistry teachers and 30 students of class X MIPA 1 at senior high school (SMAN 14 Padang). Validity and practicality data were analiysed by using kappa Cohen formula. The moment kappa average of 5 validators was 0,90 with very high validity category. The momen kappa average of teachers and students were 0,91 and 0,85 with very high category. The result of the research showed that the module of molecular shape based on structured inquiry with emphasis on the submicroscopic level using modeling was valid and practice to be used on the chemistry learning.Prima Sani SholehahMinda Azhar
