Author Guidelines

Authors should register in the Pesona PAUD journal, be sure to click "Author" when registering on the registration form. Once has been registered,  please click "user home" to submit the manuscript, then at the end of the author you will see "New Submission".

The article written should be in Early Childhood Education includes the results of research in the field of early childhood education. The manuscript is typed in the Microsoft Word program in a layout (format) according to the template, Times New Roman font, size 12 pts, with 1 space printed on A4 paper for a maximum of 7-12 pages (page number not written).

Articles are written in Indonesian and English. The structures of research articles include the title; author's name, abstract with keywords; introduction, methods, results and discussion, conclusions and suggestions, and a list of references.

Article tittles in Indonesian cannot be more than 15 words, or article tittles in English cannot be more than 15 words. The title is printed in capital letters in the middle, with a 12-point font size.
The name of the author of the article is listed without an academic degree, along with the name, address of the institution of origin, and email address, placed under the title of the article. In the case of a manuscript written by the team, the editor is only related to the main author or the author whose name is listed first. The main author must include a correspondence address or e-mail, 12 points.

Abstracts and keywords are written in two languages (Indonesian and English). The maximum length of each abstract is 200 words, while the number of keywords is 3-5 words or compound words. The abstract must contain, as a minimum, the title of the article, the objectives, the method, the results of the study, and a conclusion.

2. The way to write a research or non-research outline must refer to: 1. INTRODUCTION, 2. RESEARCH METHODS, 3. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION, 4. CONCLUSIONS AND SUGGESTIONS, 5. REFERENCES.
3. Examples: 1. INTRODUCTION (level 1: Times New Roman, 12 pt, All CAPS, bold); 1.1 Literature Review, 1.1.1 Learning and Learning (Level 2, 3 etc.: Times New Roman, 12 pt, Small CAPS, bold).
4. The Introduction section contains the background, research context, literature review, research questions, and research objectives, and the benefits of the research. All introductory sections are presented in an integrated manner in the form of essays, with 1-3 pages in length (15-20% of the total number of article pages).
5. The Research Method contains an explanation in the form of paragraphs about the research design, data sources (population, samples, participants), data collection techniques, and data analysis that is actually carried out by the researcher, with a length of 1-2 pages (10-15% of number of pages of article).
6. Results and Discussion section contains exposure to the results of the analysis relating to the research question. Every research result must be discussed. The discussion contains the meaning of results and comparison with theories and / or similar research results. The length of exposure to results and discussion is 4-9 pages (40-60% of the total number of pages of the article).
7. Conclusions and suggestion section contains research findings in the form of answers to research questions or in the form of the essence of the results of the discussion. Conclusions are presented in paragraph form for 1 page.
8. The references list only contain the sources referenced, and all sources referenced must be listed in the reference list. Reference sources of at least 80% are in the form of libraries published in the last 10 years. The references used are primary sources in the form of research articles in journals or research reports (including thesis, thesis, dissertation). Articles published in this Journal are recommended for use as references.
9. References and citation using referral techniques (last name, year: page). Inclusion of sources in direct quotations should be accompanied by information about the page number where the citation came from. Example: (Brown, 2004: 37).
10. The Reference List is arranged in the following manner and is arranged alphabetically and chronologically by using APA 6 citation guideline.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Articles are written in Indonesian or English in essay format, accompanied by titles in each part of the article. Section title are stated in different types of letters (all section titles and sub sections are printed in bold or bold and italic) and do not use numeric numbers on section headings.

  5. The Systematics of the theoretical or conceptual study article (between 7 to 12 pages) is made with the following rules;

    Article title, informative, complete, not too long or too short between 5.s.d 15 words

    Text / manuscript using Times New Romans 12 font.

    Authors is written without including an academic degree, are encouraged to include e-mail addresses to facilitate communication.

    Abstracts in English and Indonesian in one paragraph with a maximum of 100 words

    Keywords, maximum 5 keywords

    Introduction, contains background, and purpose or scope of writing.
