Author Guidelines

The editor of Lingua Didaktika welcomes article submissions in accordance with the following guidelines:  

  1. Articles have not been published or accepted for publication, or are being considered for publication elsewhere. In addition to the manuscript, a written statement should be attached which clarifies that the article is original and does not contain any elements of plagiarism.
  2. Types of articles suitable for publication include the following; research reports (laboratory, field, archives), conceptual ideas, studies, theory applications.
  3. Lingua Didaktika provides template to write the article based on its format.
  4. Another suitable type of article is book review.  Please note the following requirements for submitting book reviews:
    • books being reviewed should be newly published (within the last one year for books in Indonesian and two years for books in other foreign languages),
    • book reviews should be between 3-5 pages in length, and
    • a copy/ scan of the book cover should be attached. 
  5. Articles are written in Indonesian or English (preferable) using academic language along with standard academic writing structure and composition. Manuscripts are typed 1,5 spaced in a quarto paper size (A4), between 15-20 pages (3500-7000 words) in length including references, pictures, and tables.
  6. Article should be in form of essay which includes:
    • title (15-20 words),
    • author’s name (without academic degree) with institution’s name, address, and an e-mail address,
    • abstract in English (150-250 words for each) which includes research problems, methods and results,
    • key words in English and Indonesian (5-7 words),
    • introduction/pendahuluan (without subsection, 2-3 pages) which includes background, objectives, methods, and literature reviews/theoretical construct (if needed) of the research. The introduction section  ends with an emphasis on items to be discussed,
    • research method/metode penelitian (for research report only)
    • result and discussion/temuan dan pembahasan, for conceptual article the subtiles are based on the topic,
    • conclusion/simpulan, and
    • references/daftar pustaka.
  7. Reference list format is based on APA (American Psychological Association) style. Reference list should appear at the end of the article and includes only literatures actually cited in the manuscripts. References are ordered alphabetically and chronologically. When writing a reference list, please use the following conventions;
    The editor appreciates if authors excerpt information from previously published articles in Lingua Didaktika.

  8. Articles should be submitted in soft files using Microsoft Word application to linguadidaktika@gmail.com or submitted online. 
  9. Authors will be sent notifications of the receipt of manuscripts and editorial decisions (whether the articles are accepted or not) by e-mail. Manuscripts that are not published will not be returned to the authors.

Online Submitting Manuscript Guidelines

The manuscript text must be submitted by one of two systems (second procedure will be preferred):

  1. Submitting document should be done by Online Submission System in the Lingua Didaktika.
  2. First, the author should register as an author or reviewer (checking role as author or reviewer) in the “Register”.
  3. After registration completed, log in as an author, click in “New Submission”. The article submits stage consist five stages, such as:  (1). Start, (2). Upload Submission, (3). Enter Metadata, (4). Upload Supplementary Files, (5). Confirmation.
  4. In the “Start” column, chose Journal Section (Full Article), check all the checklists.
  5. In the “Upload Submission” Columns, upload the manuscript files at MSWord format in this column.
  6. In the “Enter Metadata” columns, fill out all the author data and affiliation. Following the Journal Title, Abstract and Indexing Keywords.
  7. In the “Upload Supplementary Files” columns, allowed to upload supplementary data file or the statement letter or other else.
  8. In the “Confirmation” columns, if all the data that you enter were right, then click “Finish Submission”.
  9. If the author has difficulties in the submitting process via online system, please contact Lingua Didaktika editorial team by sending email to linguadidaktika@gmail.com.

 

 

Panduan Bagi Penulis

 

  1. Lingua Didaktika menerima tulisan (artikel) ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan bidang bahasa, linguistik, sastra, dan pembelajarannya. Artikel boleh ditulis dalam bahasa Inggris atau bahasa Indonesia. Namun abstrak, 100 – 250 kata diikuti 3 – 5 kata kunci, harus ditulis dalam bahasa Inggris.
  2. Naskah belum pernah diterbitkan dalam media lain. Apabila naskah tersebut pernah disajikan dalam seminar, lokakarya, atau forum ilmiah lain, mohon diberikan keterangan dalam bentuk catatan kaki pada halaman pertama tulisan.
  3. panjang artikel minimal 3500 - 7000 kata.
  4. Lingua Didaktika menyediakan template untuk mengetik artikel sesuai format yang digunakan.
  5. artikel dikirim selambat-lambatnya satu bulan sebelum jadwal terbit (Juli dan Desember).
  6. Daftar Pustaka  ditulis secara alfabeltis menurut nama akhir penulis atau editor dan tidak diberi nomor.
