ABSTRACT

This study disscused about visually impaired student in SMK Negeri 7 Padang, named F. Backgrounds of this study was presence of blind student who did not make any notes when studied. Meanwhile, made the notes was the easier wayfpr students to repeat the subject. The air of this study was want to know how the blind student learn the math subject. This study used case study methods. The techniques of collecting information was using observasion, interview, and documentation. The result of this study can concludedthat this learning way of student F only focused though this her hearing. It was because F can not write the braille the way to repeat and save the subject was through a record that prouded by a special companion teacher. About learning time, F did not givespecial schedule for that, but if there were task and exam, F always study with her special companion teacher. The way asignment to make the asignmentand exam, F helped by her special companion teacher, read the question and wrote down her anwers, but for the answer she spoke lively to her special companion teacher.

      Penelitian ini membahas mengenai seorang siswa tunanetra bernama F di SMK Negeri 7 Padang. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya siswa tunanetra yang tidak menulis catatan saat belajar, sedangkan dengan mencatat dapat memudahkan siswa untuk untuk mengulang materi pelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara belajar siswa tunanetra dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa cara belajar F hanya memusatkan pendengarannya. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena F tidak bisa menulis Braille. Cara mengulang maupun menyimpan materi pelajaran melalui rekaman yang diberikan Guru Pendamping Khusus. Mengenai waktu belajar, F tidak menjadwalkan secara khusus, namun ketika ada tugas F selalu belajar dengan Guru Pendamping Khusus nya. Cara membuat tugas dan ujian, F dibantu oleh Guru Pendamping Khusus untuk membacakan soal dan menuliskan jawaban, tapi jawabannya disampaikan secara lisan kepada Guru Pendamping Khusus.
