ABSTRACT

This study aims to describe learning design, process of learning implementation and learning designs evaluation, and process of orientation and mobility learning implementation for blind children in SLB Negeri 1 Bukittinggi. This study uses a descriptive research method with qualitative approach that is applied in SLB Negeri 1 Bukittinggi. The subject in this study is one of blind children’s teacher. The technique of collecting data uses observation, interviews and documentation. The data’s validity is tested using triangulation techniques. The result of this study indicates that learning design consists of syllabus and RPP that are guided by curriculum. The learning process is carried out two hours a week which taught by the classroom teacher itself, Implementation of orientation and mobility learning consist of three stages, namely introduction activities, core activities, and closing activities. Evaluation of learning design and implementation of learning is carried out after orientation and mobility is completed.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan tentang rancangan pembelajaran, proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan evaluasi rancangan pembelajaran dan proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran orientasi dan mobilitas bagi anak tunanetra di SLB Negeri 1 Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian  deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif  yang di lakukan di SLB Negeri 1 Bukittinggi. Subjek penelitian yaitu guru kelas siswa tunanetra. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diuji menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rancangan pembelajaran terdiri silabus dan RPP yang berpedoman kepada kurikulum. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilaksanakan dua jam pelajaran dalam seminggu yang dilakukan sendiri oleh guru kelas, pelaksanaan pembelajaran orientasi dan mobilitas terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu kegiatan pendahulan, kegiatan inti dan kegiatan penutup. Evaluasi rancangan pembelajaran dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilakukan setelah pembelajaran orientasi dan mobilitas selesai.
