Abstract


This study analyzed the "Influence of discipline and motivation to job satisfaction in the Office of roads and bridges Bukittinggi region". Total population and sample in this research all employees of the Office of Infrastructure Department of Road and Bridge Bukittinggi region as many as 32 people are all included in this study using census method. Data were collected through questionnaires with Likert scale model was then tested to validan and reliability of the questionnaire. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis method, after passing through the classic assumption test using SPSS. In this research disciplines (X1) and motivation (X2) as independent variables, job satisfaction (Y) as the dependent variable.The results of this study are a). Discipline there are positive and significant impact on job satisfaction that is equal to 0.222 with a significance level of 0.026 <0.05. b). Motivation are positive and significant effect on job satisfaction that is equal to 0,782 with significance level of 0.000 <0.05, c). Discipline and motivation with the same significant positive effect on job satisfaction at 51.623 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05.Based on the conclusions derived from the research that has been done, it is recommended to further research, if it is to perform similar studies are expected to increase the factor - other factors that may affect mislnya insenti job satisfaction, work environment, leadership and others - others.
