<em><span lang="IN">The aim of this research is to find factors that cause suboptimal student learning outcomes in elementary schools. The research used a qualitative approach with the type of phenomenological research. The data collection technique is observation using direct observation (without tools), there are symptoms encountered (investigator), the interview used is a structured interview where the researcher prepares instruments to be asked of the principal, teachers and employees, and documentation. that will be used in this research are photos of school activities and several student grades. Data validity test, source triangulation and method angulation. The results of the research show that several factors cause student learning outcomes to not be optimal, namely (1) not understanding the conditions and characteristics of students in the class, so teachers choose learning models that are not suitable for students in the class. class; (2) the low ability of teachers to develop learning media as an alternative for students to study in class because they see school conditions and students who feel that it is not possible to use interactive learning media.</span></em>Riski Yuditya AndiansahNur Amalia

<p><em>Science education in fourth-grade elementary school is still inclined towards a teacher-centred approach, where students prioritize memorizing theories and concepts. This results in a lack of development in scientific attitudes and students' absorption of the material. This research aims to describe the cultivation of scientific attitudes through the inquiry-based demonstration learning method. The research methodology is qualitative, utilizing data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation at SD Negeri Kedungwaduk 1 in Sragen. The study involves teachers and fourth-grade students as research subjects. The research findings indicate that the cultivation of scientific attitudes using the inquiry-based demonstration method reached 73.46%. Successfully instilled scientific attitudes include: 1) Curiosity at 64%, 2) Response to data/facts at 100%, 3) Critical thinking at 35%, 4) Discovery and creativity at 57%, 5) Open-mindedness and cooperation at 100%, 6) Independence at 71%, and 7) Environmental awareness at 85%. However, further intervention is needed to enhance critical thinking, which is currently at 35%, through exploration, experimentation, discovery, and small-group learning.</em></p>Rafa Fatin FauziyahAnatri Desstya

<em>The RME model combined with the stemmatics method is a solution to students' low ability to understand concepts in multiplication. The research method used is an experiment with a quasi-experimental design. The population chosen was elementary schools in North Sumedang District which were randomly selected with 30 students for control an experimental classes. The research location is North Sumedang District, Sumedang Regency. The research instrument is a test in the form of pretest-posttest questions. The data analysis techniques used are validity test, homogeneity test, normality test, hypothesis test, mean difference test (Wilcoxon dan Mann Whitney test), and N-Gain test. The N-Gain test shows that learning in the experimental class has a positive influence as evidenced by an increase in learning outcome of 0.64. Apart from that, learning in the experimental class was better, as evidenced by the control and experimental classes, namely 64.07 and 84.03. This proves that learning in the experimental class where RME learning was applied using the stemmatics method was better than learning in the control class where conventional learning was applied. This increase is also influenced by the use of candy cane media with colorful appearance which can increase students' attention and enthusiasm when learning takes place.</em>Dina NuryaniIsrok'atun Isrok'atunMaulana Maulana

<em><span lang="IN">This research is motivated by the problems experienced by students in writing. This is based on initial observations which show that the students' writing results are not in accordance with the applicable Indonesian grammar, even though class IV students already know the functions of spelling and know the elements of complete sentences. This indicates that students' writing skills with attention to applicable grammar are still low. Based on this background, this research was conducted on the essays of class IV students at an elementary school in Kuningan Regency. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research methods to determine (1) spelling errors made by students, (2) morphological errors made by students, (3) syntax errors made by students. The research results obtained were that the spelling errors that were most frequently made were errors in the use of capital letters, namely 92 errors (22.16%), the most morphological errors were the use of conjunctions, 42 errors (10.12%), the most syntactic errors were ambiguous sentences, as many as 22 errors (5.30%).</span></em>Nisa KhoerunajahPrana Dwija IswaraDadan Nugraha
