Abstract
This article discusses about some strategies of teaching speaking to the low vision students. The suggested teaching strategies conform to the principles of teaching and learning to the students. The three principles that must be understood by the teachers especially the English teacher are concrete experiences, unification concepts and learning by doing. These teaching strategies aim to obtain the content instruction, language development and to encourage active envolvement in learning process. It is expected that by using these strategies can achieve the graduate competency standard of speaking skill as stated in the role of education and culture Minister No 23/2006 and 2006 curriculum.
