PENGGUNAAN MIND MAP UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MAHASISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN PERMASALAHAN PADA PERKULIAHAN ANALISIS REAL I

Abstract

Real analysis aims to help the reader gain experience in the type of critical thought That is used in this deductive process. Students often feel frustrated when conducting a preliminary analysis. Based on the analysis has been done is found the root of the problem, namely the difficulty of students in logically structuring paradigm in conducting a preliminary analysis. One alternative action to address these problems is the use of Mind Maps in a preliminary analysis. Through action research with a second cycle classes obtained using the Mind Map in learning Real Analysis I at ISTE Program, Department of Mathematics Faculty, State University of Padang listed majors Real Analysis I in semester from July to December 2010, can improve students' ability to solve problems.
