SUATU ANALISIS TENTANG KEBENARAN PRINSIP KERJA PADA BEBERAPA SUTRA DALAM VEDIC MATHEMATICS

Abstract

Vedic Mathematics was discovered in India. In this system all of mathematics is based on sixteen sutras or principles. These principles describe the way the mind naturally works and are therefore a great help in directing the student to appropriate method of solution. It makes mathematics easy, enjoyable, and encourages innovation. The simplicity of Vedic Mathematics means that calculation can be carried out mentally. There are many advantages in using a flexible mental system. The students can invent their own methods; they are not limited to the one correct method. This leads to more creative, interested, and intelligent pupils. The aim of this research is to show that Vedic Mathematics is not a trick, but it is true mathematically.
