Abstract


The rapid progress in various fields in the current development, depending on the progress of education. Various constraints faced by teachers and students in the learning process in schools following the R-SMA-BI, including the use of instructional media is still limited. It required a medium that can lead to interest students in learning, which might be expected to improve student learning activities. Module is one of the instructional media that can be used. In the module, the concept presented in the form of pictures, charts, concept maps, glossary and an incomplete statement that will enhance students' motivation and guide students in discovering concepts. This type of research is done is research Research and Development / R & D. R & D research is research that aims to develop modules Thermochemistry and see the feasibility of the module are made, through a questionnaire given to students R-SMA-BI, chemistry teacher and student ISTE Faculty UNP. Data were analyzed using a Likert scale. Based on the analysis of questionnaires obtained an average value 4.35 feasibility module for students, for teachers and students ISTE 4.01. These data suggest that the Thermochemistry module is suitable as a medium of learning. From the analysis of student activity sheets, obtained an average percentage score of correct answers for all the indicators of 94.22%, it can be concluded that students' understanding of the Thermochemistry.
