TIPE TRIKOMA DAN STOMATA PADA DAUN DARI BEBERAPA SPECIES HIBISCUS (MALVACEAE)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of trichomes and stomata in the leaves of several species of hibiscus. The sample used is hibiscus species contained in the Air Tawar  Barat, Padang. This is a descriptive study, which was conducted in May and July 2012 in the laboratory of Faculty UNP. The results of this study indicate trichomes found 3 types, namely type stars, and uniseluller forked, except in H. sabdariffa L. and H. acetocella not found trichomes. Based on the arrangement of neighboring cells H. acetocella and H. rosa-sinensis L. have stomata type anisositik. While H. tiliaceus and H. sabdariffa has a parasitic type of stomata. Based on the stomata on the leaf surface, H. acetosella and H. sabdariffa L. have amfistomatic type. While H. tiliiaceus and H. rosa-sinensis has type hipostomatic stomata.
