PENGARUH LKS TERINTEGRASI GEMPA BUMI PADA KONSEP ELASTISITAS DAN GETARAN TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PBI

Abstract


The research is motivated by the fact that the city of Padang is in the potentional earthquake hazards area that require the implementation of  earthquake disaster preparedness character. The Physics is one of lessons that are able to be integrated against earthquake disaster on the material elasticity and vibration. Physics Learning that use LKS in Problem Based Instuction (PBI) learning model can to encourage students to understand the facts, concepts, and principles of physics integrated against the material of earthquake disaster. This research aimed to determine the effect of LKS integrated earthquake disaster material on the concept of elasticity and vibration. Kind of this research was Quasi-Experimental Research. The population in this research were all students of class XI Science in SMAN 1 Padang listed school year 2012/2013. Samples were determined by cluster random sampling technique. Classes that had been selected are class XI IPA 6 and XI IPA 7. Instrument is a matter of objective research on the cognitive. Data analysis techniques that are used to test hypotheses using the t test on the real level of 0.05. The results showed that the average student point in the cognitive domain for the experimental class was 84.89 and the control class is 78.70. Testing hypotheses about the equality of two average student scores on the cognitive use statistical t-test showed that tcount > TTable. Conclusion of research is the hypothesis that there is an influence of worksheets integrated earthquake disaster on the concept of elasticity and vibration on student learning outcomes in PBI Model is acceptable real level of 0.05.
