KESANTUNAN BERBAHASA DALAM TINDAK TUTUR DIREKTIF GURU PADA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI SMA NEGERI 15 PADANG

Abstract


Abstract: Speech acts have an impact on student motivation and engagement in learning. Teachers use the speech act quite varied. However, speech acts are performed predominantly by the directive speech act. The purpose of this study was (1) to describe the form of directive speech acts teacher, (2) describe the politeness principle used in teacher directive speech act, (3) describe the context of the use of the principle of modesty in speech acts directive teachers, (4) describe the response of students to the directive speech acts on learning Indonesian teacher in Senior High School 15 Padang. The results of this study indicate that teachers perform direc0ive speech acts ordered by using the maxim of wisdom and maxims on the situation said the deal is not sensitive topics and classes in noisy circumstances. Student response consists of a positive response of the student in response to the type of speech act teacher told the maxim of wisdom in the context of the situation said the topic was not sensitive and conducive situation, and negative responses tend to be aimed at the teacher told directive speech acts that use the maxim of wisdom on the situation said topics insensitive and unconducive situation. That teachers perform speech acts sent using wisdom and maxims in the context of the situation said the deal was not a sensitive topic and the noisy atmosphere resulted in a directive speech act that has been done the teacher in the learning becomes mannered as impressed forcing students in learning.
