Abstract


The background of this research is based on the observations and discussions between the writer and the employees at the social services office of west sumatera province which shows the low satisfactory of the employees. This research is aimed to gain the information about the placement towards the working satisfactory of the employees, and found a significant correlation between the two variables. The research population is 112 people and 52 employees samples or about 46% of the population, which was taken by using proportional stratified random sampling technique. The research instrument was using questionnaires with Likert scale model which has been validity and reliability tested. The data was analyzed by using moment product correlation. The result showed that the placement of the employees are categorized as adequate with ideal score of 77.15%, and the satisfactory of the employees is categorized as adequate with ideal score 79.00% with rhitung correlation coefficient = 0.321 > rtable = 0.266 at the credibility level of 95%. In the end, the hypothesis stated that the placement meanly related towards the working satisfactory of the employees is accepted.
