KOMITMEN GURU DALAM PENGELOLAAN PEMBELAJARAN DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEJURUAN (SMK) KARTIKA 1-2 PADANG

Abstract


This purpose of this research the information about  which shows the lack of good teacher commitment in carrying out their work. This study aims to get an overview and information about the commitment of teachers in the management of learning seen from aspects 1) responsibility, 2) loyalty, 3) discipline, 4) involvement. The problem in this research is whether the teacher's commitment to managing learning has been seen from aspects of: 1) responsibility, 2) loyalty, 3) discipline, 4) involvement.

This research is descriptive. The study population was 35 Kartika 1-2 Padang teachers. For this study researchers used population research. The research instrument used was a questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale. The questionnaire was tested to determine its validity and reliability.

The results showed the teacher's commitment in managing learning 1) in terms of responsibilities in the high category with an average score of 3.75, 2) in terms of loyalty in the high category with an average score of 3.61, 3) in terms of being disciplined in the sufficient category with an average score of 3.35, and 4) in terms of involvement being in the high category with an average score of 3.62. Thus it can be concluded that the commitment of teachers in managing learning in SMK Kartika 1-2 Padang is in the high enough category with an average score of 3.58.
