Abstract


The purpose of this research is to analyze students perceptions the management of industrial work practices at SMK Negeri 7 Padang. There are three questions must be answered, that is how perception of students to preparing, implementing and evaluating the management of industrial work practices. This research is quantitative research. The population of this research is 195 people. The number of samples is 70 people take by proportional random sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert scale model questionnaire and the data collected were analyzed by looking for an average score. The results show that perception of students to management of industrial work practices at SMK Negeri 7 Padang were at an average score (3.59). It’s mean that in general, the management of industrial work practices at SMK Negeri 7 Padang doesn’t yet have good prepartion, implementation and evalution. Therefore, the management of industrial work practices in SMK Negeri 7 Padang is more improved and developed again, especially in the aspect of this implementation in the business or industrial world. So that it can help students in the world of work later.
