Abstract


The purpose of this research is to obtain data on the pedagogic competence of state vocational school teachers 2 Pariaman. This type of research is descriptive research. The population of this research is all teachers of SMK Negeri 2 Pariaman, amounting to 88 people. The sampling technique in this study is Random Sampling. The Data Collector tool in this study is a poll arranged in the form of a Likert scale with five alternatives that have been tested for validity and realibility. The Data is analyzed by using an average formula (mean). The results showed that (1) the ability of teachers to master the characteristics of students from physical, moral, spiritual, social, cultural access level 79.9% category less capable (2) teachers ' ability to master learning theories and Learning principles that educate the achievement level of 78.2% less capable category. (3) The ability of teachers to develop curriculum related to the subjects that can be access level 83.9% of the category. (4) The ability of teachers to conduct learning that educates the achievement level of 80.3% of the category. (5) Teachers ' ability to utilize information technology and Communikas for achievement level learning 81.4% of the category can be. (6) The ability of teachers to facilitate the development of potential students to actualize the potential of achievement level 77.9% less capable category. (7) The ability of teachers to communicate effectively, emphatically, and politely with the achievement level learners 78.9% less capable category. (8) The ability of teachers to conduct assessment and evaluation of the process and achievement of learning outcomes 79.1% less capable category. (9) Teacher's ability to utilize assessment results and evaluation for achievement level learning 79.7% less capable category. (10) Teachers ' ability to perform reflective action for improved achievement level learning 82.9% able category
