Abstract


Based on the author's observations at  the Padang  8th Vocational  High  School Padang,  there were symptoms of a lack of teacher's morale. This study  aims to determine the Teacher's  Morale  which includes morale, work discipline, and  work responsibilities. The  results  of  the questionnaire  trial showed  valid and reliable at 95% confidence level.  Data  were  analyzed  using  the Mean  formula. The results showed  that:  (1)  High teacher  morale  with  an average score (4.24),  (2)  High  teacher  work discipline  with an  average  score  (4.35),  (3) High  teacher  responsibility  with a score  average  (4,10).  In  general,  the Work  Morale of Teachers  in Vocational  High  Schools  in  Padang  8  is  in  the  high  category  with  an average score of  4.10. This  means  that the moral work of teachers  in the vocational  high  school  8 Padang.  This can be proven from research data  that shows  the  three indicators, namely morale, work discipline and work  responsibilities.
