Abstract


Research in the background of the results of research on the management of extracurricular activities in Sungai Limau State Junior High School, Padang Pariaman Regency is still lacking. 1) Planning extracurricular activities, 2) Implementation of extracurricular activities, 3) Supervision of extracurricular activities. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. This research is a participatory research. The population is all teachers who coach extracurricular activities at Sungai Limau State High School, Padang Pariaman Regency, as many as 40 people. Data collection tool is a Likert Scale questionnaire model with 5 (five) alternative answers that are always (SL), often (SR), sometimes (KD), Rarely (JR), never (TP) which has proven its validity and reliability with valid and reliable results. The results showed that (1) planning of extracurricular activities depends on the good category with an average score of 3.81, (2) the implementation of extracurricular activities depends on the good category with an average score of 4.43, (3) extracurricular exploration activities in the category both with an average score of 4.07. In the Junior High School, Sungai Limau District, Padang Pariaman Regency is in the good category with an average score of 4.10.
