Abstract


The purpose of this article is to find out and describe how quality of school program planning in junior high schools viewed from the aspect of vision, mission, goals, and school work plans. This type of research is descriptive with the population is the entire board of educators and education totaling 129 people. The research sample of 68 people using Purposive Sampling techniques. The research instrument was a questionnaire using a Likert scale model, which had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of testing the instrument show valid and reliable. Data analysis uses the mean formula (average). The results showed that; 1) the quality of school vision is in the good category with an average score of 4,53, 2) the quality of the school mission is in the good category with an average score of 4,30, 3) the quality of school goals is in the good category with an average score of 4,36, 4) the quality of school work plans is in the good category with an average score of 4,32. In general, the quality of school program planning in junior high schools is in the good category with an average score of 4,40.
