Abstract


The purpose of this article is to find out and describe how well the implementation of supervision activities in the Tanah Datar District Education and Culture Office is seen from (1) aspects that are monitored, (2) time for conducting supervision, (3) supervision techniques, and (4) follow-up. This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all employees in the Tanah Datar District Education and Culture Office. Sampling uses the Slovin formula with the Stratified Proportional Random Sampling technique so that the number of samples is 40 employees. Data collection tool in this study is a Likert scale model questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability, the results of which are valid and reliable. Data analysis techniques using the average formula. The results showed that: (1) Aspects supervised by the Tanah Datar District Education and Culture Office were not implemented well with an average score of 2.80. (2) the time of implementation of supervision at the Tanah Datar Regency Education and Culture Office has not been done routinely with an average score of 2.86. (3) supervision techniques at the Tanah Datar Regency Education and Culture Office have not been able to be applied properly with an average score of 2.81 (4) follow-up at the Tanah Datar District Education and Culture Office has not been applied properly with an average score of 2, 55 Thus it can be concluded that the implementation of supervision activities at the District Education and Culture Office has not been carried out properly with an overall average score of 2.75
