Abstract


The objectives of this research is to see the development of employee performance by direct supervisors in Kementerian Agama Kota Bukittinggi. The population of the research was 76 people. The number of samples of research was 46 people using a proportional random sampling technique. The research instrument used was a questionnaire using the Likert Scale that has been tested it’s validity and reliability using the SPSS 16.0 version. Based on the research, 1) the development of employee discipline is in a good enough category (79.77%), 2) development of employee responsibility is in a good enough category (77.44%), 3) development of employee creativity is in a good enough category (78.88%), 4) development of employee collaboration is in a good category (83.29%), 5) development of employee initiative is in a good enough category (80.76%). Overall, the development of employee performance by direct supervisors in Kementerian Agama Kota Bukittinggi was in a good enough category (80.03%).
