Abstract


This research aims to obtain information about the work discipline of the staff of the regional personnel of West Sumatera province. This type of research is descriptive.  The population of this research is the employees of the regional personnel agency of West Sumatera province with 75 people.  Large research samples of 48 people were prescribed with the formula Slovin. This research instrument uses a Likert scale model poll that has been tested for its validity and reliability. The poll results are valid and reliable based on the data analyzed using SPSS 16.0. The results of this study show that: 1) timeliness in working on the Regional personnel agency of West Sumatra province in sufficient category; 2) Obedience to Office rules on the Regional personnel agency of West Sumatra province is in sufficient category; 3) responsible for duties on the Regional personnel agency of West Sumatra province is in sufficient category. The conclusion of this research is the work discipline of employees at the Regional personnel agency West Sumatera Province is in the category enough with a score of 3.25.
