Abstract


The purpose of this study is to find out and describe how well employees' perceptions about the decision making process, which includes: 1) Identifying Problems, 2) Gathering Relevant Information, 3) Developing Alternative Problem Solving, 4) Choosing Alternatives, 5) Implementing Selected Alternatives, and 6) Evaluating Decisions. This type of research is descriptive. The population in this study were all employees in the Department of Youth and Sports Education in Pariaman City, amounting to 60 people. In this study all populations were sampled because it was a population study. Data collection tool is a questionnaire with a Likert scale model that has been tested for validity and reliability. Then the data is analyzed using the formula of the mean value (Mean). Overall employee perceptions about the decision making process by the leadership of the Pariaman City Youth and Sports Education Office are in the quite good category with an average score of 3.11.
